NewReader™ Program
The NewReader™ program helps parents take their child from reading no or few words to reading simple books with ease and confidence. Ideal for Kindergarten to 2nd grade.

Six-Week program
You’ll attend six one-hour classes, once a week, online or at a convenient Portland-area library. Weeknight and weekend options available. In each class, you’ll learn 2–3 specific things to practice at home that week. By the end of the program, you’ll feel confident guiding your child as they grow into a reader.

Support and Guidance
Between classes, you’ll practice with your child for 3–5 times per week for 20-40 minutes, depending on the family needs and child's stamina. Every week, you will record a short video of your practice and send it to me so I can offer personalized feedback and guidance. You’ll have a supportive partner the entire way.

What You'll Receive
All materials are provided. Some items will be electronic and will need to be printed in color, and you will also receive hard-copy books for your child’s reading practice. Each week, you’ll have clear routines, simple activities, and a way to see your child’s growth.
NewReader™ Pricing
Every parent should have access to the knowledge and skills needed to teach their child to read, so we use income-based pricing to keep the program within reach.
